“CREATE THE LIFE YOU WANT WITH VISION BOARDING”
Instructor: Stacey Bickler
Get clear on what you want to manifest in your life and jumpstart your vision for 2013. All supplies are provided, although we encourage you to clip and bring pictures from magazines that resonate for you.
“UNLEASH YOUR CREATIVE VOICE THROUGH ART JOURNALING”
Instructor: Nancy Sloane
Everyone needs a way to express their desires, emotions and inspirations. This workshop is for people who want to kick start their creative energy, connect to their inner voice, discover inspiration, and find ways to communicate their ideas in a balanced interplay of words and images. We provide materials but recommend you come equipped with some kind of digital camera (even a cell phone will do). We will spend some time in the field collecting objects in nature and taking photographs. Discussions will include: building and maintaining a creative practice, approaches to collage, relaxation and other techniques for finding your voice. Great for CEOs and executives looking to break free of linear thinking and routines. No artistic talent or experience required. What to Bring: Magazine clippings with words or images that resonate for you (not required). Digital camera.
“ESCAPE TO YOUR INSCAPE”
Instructor: Nancy Sloane
Location: Satori Yoga Center, Evergreen, Colorado
All photographs are in some way self-portraits, expressions of who we are at any given point in time. This class is not a photography class so much as an exploration of who we are as reflected in what we see. Using photography as a walking meditation, we will explore our inner world and gain insight by being out in nature to experience our outer world. When we click that shutter, we are saying something about ourselves. Whatever your journey, whether you are in the throes of healing or living joyfully in your present world, this restorative and rejuvenating class will connect you to your inner wisdom, and inspire and stimulate creativity. We will combine writing with photographs to create keepsake albums of our experiences. What to Bring: Digital camera, sturdy shoes and proper attire for hiking in nature (hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, water bottle, etc.).
Reminder: Cancellations made up to seven days prior to class will be refunded in full. A 50% refund will be provided up to three days prior to class. This policy ensures that teachers are compensated for their investment in materials and time spent preparing for class. We reserve the right to cancel class if fewer than three students enroll 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time. If for any reason Destination Satori has to cancel a class, students will be contacted via email and refunded the FULL class fee. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
